FULLY AUTOMATED SMART RO/DI SYSTEM

The IceCap Eco-Friendly Smart RODI Systemisa 4-stage reverse osmosis system like no other. Itis equippedwith a super quietbooster pump which allows the system to run at peak efficiency capable of providing a 2 to 1 waste to product water ratio and upwards of 150GPD* of pure product watermaking it a very Eco-Friendly reverse osmosis unit.

The IceCap RODIunit is fully managed by an unique system controller that fullyautomates the entire water purification process and supports a fewhandy safety features that set it apart from any other system currently inthe marketplace. The IceCap Eco-Friendly Smart RODIfeatures include leak detection, system run timer, filter replacement notification, high efficiency and a special ElectroDeposition coating to help protect the steel frame from rusting among many others.

WHAT ARE THE FOUR SYSTEM STAGES?

First Stage {Right Prefilter Canister} -Sediment Pre-filter(included)
The incoming feed water is passed through a 1 µ polypropylene sediment pre-filter. This filter is required to remove colloidal and particulate matters that may clog the TFC membrane.

Second Stage{Center Prefilter Canister}-Carbon Block Pre-filter(included)
The 5 µ carbon block pre-filter removes organics and chlorine from the feed water that can damage the membrane.

Third Stage{Top Membrane Canister}-TFC Membrane(included)The 75GPD high rejection thin film composite (TFC) reverse osmosis membrane removes over 98% of most inorganic salts, heavy metals, bacteria and almost all high molecular weight organics from the tap water. The correct waste water to product water ratio is 3 to 1.

Forth Stage{Left Prefilter Canister}-Deionization Cartridge(included)
The fourth stage moves water through a Deionization Cartridge. As water passes through a bed of ion exchange resin, these resins attract and absorb ionic contaminants: cation resins absorb positively charged ions, and anion resins absorb negatively charged ions. Deionization cartridges are designed to reduce silica, nitrates and phosphate levels in the low ppb range. It is an excellent system for removing dissolved solids and gases.

What is Electrodeposition frame coating and how does it benefit the RODI system?

It is a process that uses electrical current to reduce dissolved metal cations so that they form a coherent metal coating on the frame. This process is industrially used for applying coatings to metal fabricated products. It has been widely used to coat automobile bodies and parts, tractors and heavy equipment, electrical switch gear, appliances, metal furniture, beverage containers, fasteners, and many other industrial products. EPD processed has a number of advantages like providing a very uniform coating thickness without porosity and easily coats inside hard to reach cavities. Modern electrophoretic paint products are significantly more environmentally friendly than many other painting technologies.
